![]() ![]() This was something they had to do for The Waterbending Master, in order for Pakku to accept her as a student. But late first season now says that it is a Northern Water Tribe betrothal necklace, something that a person fleeing from NWT persecution wouldn't want to keep. It was established in early first season as being passed down from her mother. The role of Katara's necklace is yet another example. ![]() ![]() Oh, he'll be the victim of Tempting Fate here and there, but it will never be as persistent and prolonged as it was before this. #AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER BOOK 2 GUIDE SERIES#The Fortuneteller really is the last point in the entire series where the universe seems to have a personal mad-on for Sokka. They will be used consistently from that point forward. The Fortuneteller is the first episode where hybrid animals are consistently named by their hybrid names. If you compare the episodes before and after, you will find that many things changed around this break, separating the season into early first season and late first season.
